Kids' Chance of PA Scholarship
-
Applicants must be bound for post secondary (post high school) education.
-
Applicants must have achieved a high school diploma by the time of the first disbursement of the scholarship award.

Applicants must be under the age of 25 years old at the time of the full disbursement of the Kids' Chance of Pennsylvania, Inc. scholarship award.
-
Applicants must be entering to study or already studying toward receiving an undergraduate bachelor or associates degree.
-
Applicants may not have already attained a bachelor's degree.
-
Applicants in graduate level programs are ineligible.
-
Applicants must have at least one custodial parent or step-parent who has been seriously injured or killed in a work-related accident that has been documented by the parent's employer.
-
Applicant's parent's injury or death must be related to the work-related accident.
-
Applicants are eligible for the equivalent of 4 traditional years (8 traditional semesters) of scholarship award.

Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association Scholarship
The scholarships will be awarded to worthy Pennsylvania public high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in a communications field (i.e. journalism, English, public relations, advertising, graphic arts, etc.). The candidate should have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA, and have been accepted at or applied to a two- or four-year college, vocational-technical school, or other institution of higher learning.

Pennsylvania American Legion Scholarships

Essay Contest - Open to any student in 9th-12th grade enrolled in a PA school. Essay is between 500 and 1000 words on a topic chosen by the committee.

Oratorical Contest - Open to any student in 9th-12th grade enrolled in a PA school. Consists of two parts, a memorized oration and an extemporary oration on an assigned topic.

Sebastianelli Drum Corps Scholarship - Open to any senior who is child or grandchild of a PA Legionnaire living or deceased. The student must be a member of a high school band and is going on to higher education with a major in music.

Joseph P. Gavenonis Scholarship - Open to any PA high school senior who is child/grandchild of a PA Legionnaire. The student needs to be seeking a four year degree in a PA college or university.

Robert W. Valimont Endowment - Open to any PA high school senior who is child/grandchild of a PA Leggionare. The student needs to be seeking a two year career-oriented education or training in a less-than-four-year program in a PA school.

Robert Trace Essay Contest - Open to students 15-18 years who are children or grandchildren of a PA Legionnaire living or deceased or children of a PA soldier killed as a result of war on terrorism. 300-500 word essay on the topic "Patriotism and Citizenship - What America means to me"
