Create a Greeting Card Scholarship Contest

Eligibility:

  • All high school, college and university students are welcome to participate in our scholarship competition.

  • This contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia

  • Applicants must be 14 years of age or older at the time of entry, unless prohibited by law.

Deadline:  March 2, 2023

Kenneth E. Butts Memorial Scholarship

$500

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in the next scheduled semester of a two or four year accredited college or university that offers courses in emergency medical service and related subjects. These courses must be taken in addition to other required subjects.

Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship

$3,500

Eligibility:

  • Candidates for this award shall be daughters, sons, grandsons, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, great-grandsons of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion.

    • April 6, 1917 through November 11, 1918  (WWI)

    • December 7, 1941 through December 31, 1946  (WWII)

    • June 25, 1950 through January 31, 1955  (Korea)

    • February 28, 1961 through May 7, 1975  (Vietnam)

    • August 24, 1982 through July 31, 1984  (Grenada and Lebanon)

    • December 20, 1989 through January 31, 1990  (Panama)

    • August 2, 1990 to the date of cessation of hostilities  (Persian Gulf to present)

  • Applicants must be in their senior year of high school.

  • Applicant must complete 50 hours of volunteer service within the community during his/her high school years.  Hours must be verified in writing by the recipient organization(s).

JR Haines Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in the next scheduled semester of a two or four year accredited college or university that offers courses in fire science including fire, fire investigation and related subjects.

  • These courses must be taken in addition to other required subjects.

BigSun Scholarship

$500

Eligibility:

  • all student athletes regardless of the sport

  • high school senior or attending a post-secondary institute

Deadline: June 19, 2023

Digital Privacy Scholarship

Eligibility:

  •  high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current college or graduate school student of any level.

  • Home schooled students are also eligible

  • U.S. citizen or legal resident.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program

Eligibility:

  • High school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post-secondary institution.

Do-Over Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application

  • Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia

  • Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2022) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

Flavor of the Month Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application

  • Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia

  • Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2022) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

We the Students Essay Contest

$5,000

The Contest is open to all United States citizens or legal residents who are students who are no older than 19 and no younger than 14 as of the end of the Contest Period who (1) attend school in the United States, one of its territories or districts, or an American Armed Forces School Abroad, and (2) who are in grades 8 -12 attending public, private, religious, or charter schools, or (3) are enrolled in a GED or correspondence school program, or (4) are attending a home school program.

The Coolidge: A Scholarship for America

a full-ride scholarship

  • Must be a current Junior in high school

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident

  • Cannot be immediate family member of an employee or trustee of the Coolidge Foundation

  • A full-ride presidential scholarship covering tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study and leadership training that may be used at any accredited American University.

Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship Program

200 scholarships of $10,000 each

opens in January

Applicants must be:

  • U.S. Citizens

  • Current high school seniors with a cumulative 3.5 or above GPA, or current college freshmen or sophomores with a cumulative 3.0 or above GPA.

  • Planning to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.

  • Majoring or planning to major in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Math, Physics, Information Systems/Management Information Systems or Information Assurance.

  • Demonstrate financial need.

  • Be willing to consider a paid internship with Lockheed Martin following freshman, sophomore or junior year of college, other circumstances notwithstanding. (Note: The internship is not required to receive a scholarship.)

Burger King Scholars

  • 2.5 or higher GPA

  • Work experience and community involvement
